Mick Hanly is the man who kicked off Live @ The Seantí back in June of 2022. No one has done more to help further the cause than he. A hugely respected figure in songwriting circles, Mick's catalog of songs is both vast and impressive. A  peerless storyteller who quite easily ranks with the very best.

Joining him once again are two of the best hired guns in the business. Anto Drennan and Eoghan O'Neill's credits are way to many to go into here, but suffice it to say that they've played and recorded with the best of the best!!

Padraig Jack

We're delighted to welcome Padraig Jack here for his first official show.

RTE Folk Awards Nominee Padraig Jack is gaining a reputation as a bilingual (Irish/English) singer-songwriter of substance with music and song rooted deep in Irish history, culture, language and storytelling. Born and raised in the Aran islands Gaelic-speaking Gaeltacht, Padraig is recognized as ‘One of Ireland’s best emerging songwriters’ (Hot Press) and he has been developing a reputation internationally as an authentic representative of Irish language and culture at International Celtic festivals such as Celtic Connections (2025, 2026) and Festival Interceltique de Lorient (2025, 2026) as well as representing Culture Ireland at Folk Alliance in Montréal in 2025

Maurice Lennon Trio

We're delighted to welcome Maurice Lennon to The Seantí for the first time. One of Ireland's foremost fiddlers, Maurice is a prolific composer with a huge body of work to his credit. A founding member of Stocktons Wing, Maurice has forged a reputation as one of the key figures in the development of Irish fiddle playing. His many awards and accolades attest to this fact. Many of his compositions have been played on our stage by others............ We are now honored to have him perform those tunes in person.

Maurice is joined by Ciara Brennan on vocals and fiddle along with Chris Dawson on bouzouki. Guaranteed to be a great show.

Kris Drever

This is one we are seriosly excited about!!!

Guitarist, singer and songwriter, Kris Drever’s originality sits confidently alongside the folk music tradition he comes from. Known for his soulful vocals, intricate guitar work and insightful writing, Drever has garnered acclaim from critics and fans worldwide.
From his work with revered prog-folk trio LAU to an album in collaboration with Idlewild frontman Roddy Woomble and fiddler John McCusker, or the visionary, nature-focused Spell Songs project, Drever is no stranger to collaboration. His solo recording career won him a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for the title track of 2016 If Wishes Were Horses, and it is in solo form that audiences have seen him perform most in recent years.

We often get asked; "Who is the best you've ever had perform at The Seantí?"........ To be honest, it's getting REALLY hard to answer that question!!! But for sure and certain, Seán Keane MUST be a serious contender for the top spot.
