Freddie White

One of our very greatest musical artists, Freddie White returns  to Live @ The Seantí to weave his own brand of acoustic magic. 

Not only is he a fantastic singer songwriter, but Freddie has truly mastered the art of interpreting the work of others. Expect to hear plenty of classics, with a few surprises thrown in, as is customary for Freddie White!!

The Kilkennys

A traditional Irish folk and ballad group, The Kilkennys are noted for their dynamic arrangements, energetic performances and charismatic rapport with audiences across the globe.

We are thrilled to welcome them here for their first visit to "Live @ The Seantí". It's one hundred percent certain to be another fantastic night.

The ShamRogues

The ShamRogues have been entertaining crowds all over the East Coast of America since 2009 with their unique brand of Irish music and dance. From Washington D.C. to Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and the famous Irish venues of New York City, the band has attracted fans of all ages and walks of life wherever they travel with their show.

 

 Having performed a series of sell out shows in Ireland over the past several years, the band has blasted onto the International scene in a blaze of electric fiddles and banjos.

Formed by banjo player and County Laois native Jim Phelan, the band features Adam Wyatt on Vocals and Bodhran, Billy Jack Mast on Guitar, Vocals, and Mandolin, Sarah Stepanik on Fiddle, Jeff Havens on Bass, Evan Phillips on Drums and the World Class Irish Dancing Duo Katie Fox and Katie Whitman.

Not a band to stand around on stage blasting out song after song, The ShamRogues like to involve their audience in a fun, lively evening of songs and stories of Ireland, and God help anyone who forgets to clap along!!

Niamh Parsons

Without a shadow of a doubt one of our finest Folk singers, Niamh Parsons makes her second appearance at The Seantí. Her last visit was a truly memorable evening. We really can't wait for this to roll around. Again she'll have the extremely talented Graham Dunne accompanying her on guitar.

There are very few musicians who command more respect than John. He is part of an elite group of musicians who occupy the upper levels of folk music. Skilled beyond all belief!!

The nation's best tribute to the legendary Christy Moore hits The Seantí on Saturday August 17th. Featuring the fantastic Liam Byrne in the lead role. Liam has been performing this show to packed out houses for over ten years!! From Ireland to Australia, and everywhere in between!! He takes the job very seriously. He looks, sings and sweats just like the great man himself.

Joining Liam(Christy) on the night will be James Freeman in the "Declan Sinnott" role. Expect some tasty guitar licks, and the odd dirty look!!

Makem & Clancy

Rory Makem and Dónal Clancy continue the legacy and pay tribute to their fathers, Tommy Makem and Liam Clancy. Their show is a trip down memory lane with songs and stories from the early days of The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem through to more contemporary hits such as 'The Dutchman' and Makem’s self-penned anthem 'Four Green Fields'.

The Murphy's return for their third visit to The Seantí. These guys are as good as it gets, and need little introduction!!

They are one of the "must see" live shows touring this country. Mixing great songs with side splitting laughs, all tinged with just the right amount of nostalgia. Total entertainment.

The Whileaways

Emma Langford

Emma Langford creates music that playfully blends folk, traditional and contemporary sounds and styles. Songs such as The Winding Way Down to Kells Bay and Birdsong have solidified her place on the Irish and international folk scene.
In '23, Langford played Ireland’s National Concert Hall, premiering new works inspired by pirate queen Gráinne Mhaol with award-winning conductor Éimear Noone and the National Symphony Orchestra. She also toured Germany, and joined the star-studded Irish Women In Harmony on lead vocals on the main stage at Ireland’s premier music festival, Electric Picnic. '24 has already seen her complete a full-band tour of the USA.  She can currently be found on the road around Ireland with her collaborative trio, sharing a body of work that celebrates Irish myth, history and folklore.

RTE Folk Music Awards nominee Padraig Jack delivers a totally engaging performance which comprises a series of moments which are supported by his disarming charm, whit, perspectives on society, Irish history and of course top quality songs in both English and Irish. A native of the Aran islands, Padraig is proudly bilingual both as a conversationalist and a songwriter.
